Channel Solutions Architect – Southeast


  • Serves as the main pre-sales technical point of contact for company’s system integrator and reseller partners

  • Should have a history of success as a Sales Engineer or Solution Architect selling into large system integrator and reseller partners

  • Should have significant experience designing and/or managing enterprise branch networking, security, and wireless solutions

  • Should have a proven track record with selling into Financial, Retail, and medium size branch networks

  • Part of the Channel Sales team, working with the regional Channel Account Managers addressing technical objections during the sales process, creating end to end solutions, and exceeding quarterly sales objectives

  • Position reports to Channel Solution Architect Manager and is part of the Channel Team

Required Qualifications :


  • Bachelor of Science 

  • 5+ years experience working as a Sales Engineer/Solution Architect with system integrator and reseller partners

  • 5+ years experience building or supporting edge enterprise branch routing, security and wireless solutions

  • 5+ years experience in a systems engineering, sales engineering, solutions architect role for Internet Protocol (IP) based networking and/or security products

  • 2+ years experience with cloud management solutions for the networking, security or wireless industry

Should have practical experience or strong knowledge in one or multiple areas: 

  • LAN/WAN network topologies and interworking (ie MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

  • Enterprise, Carrier or Public WiFi solutions (ie. Motorola, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus)

  • Solid understanding of 3GPP(HSPA+,LTE)/3GPP2(EV_DO) Broadband Wireless Data Architectures 

  • Virtual Private Network Solutions and Technology

  • Network Management Solutions 

  • Network Security (ie UTM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SBC, ACL, NAT)

  • Network and/or Customer Experience Analytics

  • Proven track record selling networking, wireless or security solutions into enterprise accounts, system integrators, and reseller partners.

  • Experience with M2M and mobile solutions

  • SD-LAN/SD-WAN experience

  • CCNP, CCDP or CISSP Certification or industry equivalent.

  • Technical knowledge of system integrator and reseller partners offerings including private network offerings over wireline (metroE, DSL, Cable ect) and 4G(LTE) wireless WAN
