Inside Sales Manager - Engineered Products
Responsible for overall management of inside sales and sales support teams, meeting sales targets through telemarketing, direct mail, and web-based sales strategies. Achieves sales goals by hiring, training and coaching employees to develop strong selling skills and maintain adequate sales pipelines. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish objectives. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Work with top management to develop Inside Sales strategy; build a strong, cohesive Inside Sales team that exceeds sales goals.
Mine existing records to identify prospects; build a large pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
Manage performance review process, salary planning and employee development; provide coaching, training and mentoring for Inside Sales and Sales Support team members
Monitor employee productivity and motivate teams to exceed daily/monthly objectives.
Work closely with Marketing and Outside Sales to build/maintain understanding of the customers and markets served.
Monitor sales metrics, opportunities, industry trends and threats; report to senior management.
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
Evaluate and improve inside sales and sales support processes.
Work with Marketing to create and drive various outbound phone campaigns, developing scripts, techniques and objectives; set, measure and exceed ROI objectives.
Responsible for maintaining CRM data base and insuring accuracy of data. Conduct and report weekly on data quality checks.
Any other job related duties and responsibilities that may be required from time to time.
B.S. Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
5+ years of sales experience with engineered products and services
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
Good consultative selling skills
Strong leadership skills.
A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends and how they could be applied to increase the productivity of the group.
