This position is responsible for coordinating sales activities through interaction with customers, account managers, head office, procurement, engineering, warehouse, marketing and customer service.
Assist in requests that fall outside of standard company policy and customer claim related activities.
Coordinate with other departments such as customer service, head office, engineering, and procurement for daily activities.
Provide trouble-shooting for customer orders, account statuses and related activities.
May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Conduct in-depth analyses to identify sales performance.
Assist Sales Managers with the generation of reports.
Assist Sales Managers in accounts receivable matters and consideration of customer credit changes.
Assist Sales Managers with the maintenance of customer records in CRM system.
Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Approximately 2 years of inside sales or customer service experience at a manufacturing or distribution company.
Customer oriented and taking initiative is essential.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
Logical thinking and analytical skills required.
Good command of MS Office.
Experience with CRM software is helpful.
Advanced skills in MS Access or SQL Server.
