Repair Manager

Job purpose & scope:



  • The Repair Manager will be responsible for building a team with throughput exceeding incoming velocity.  The Repair Manager will provide metrics for all team KPI’s and allow for increased growth to support new procurement contracts.  Our ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, new vendor acquisition, SOP creation and training, and R2 guidelines.


 


 


Required Qualifications :

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Manage up to 30 hourly employees

  • Hire, train, and develop team

  • Engage in weekly departmental meetings

  • LMA “Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable”

  • Develop individual and team productivity metrics

  • Manage P&L

  • Perform quality checks

  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity outputs are maximized

  • Onboard/Off-board new employees based on company core values

  • Work with Operations Manager to maintain proper headcount

  • Suggest and implement cost saving and process improvement ideas

  • Document and train all Repair related SOP’s “Standard Operating Procedures”


 


Requirements/Skills:



  • Quickly gain and demonstrate working knowledge of company processes and equipment.

  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills

  • Knowledge in google sheets, drive, and office tools

  • Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent team building, coaching, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to motivate others


 


Physical Demands/Work Environment:



  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 LBS

  • Must wear required PPE

  • Must pass pre-employment screening


 


Experience:



  • Experience utilizing an ERP/WMS

  • Experience building teams and training governance

  • Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience

  • Proven success with achieving and surpassing repairs targets


 


Education & Training:



  • High School Diploma/GED - Required

  • A+ Certification - Required

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Required

  • Bachelor Degree - Preferred

  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) - Preferred

  • Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) - Preferred

  • Six Sigma green belt or higher - Preferred
