The role:


As an account executive, you will engage, close and expand US commercial insurance companies. Using a compelling approach and strong consultative selling skills, you will grow your pipeline while nurturing and expanding existing accounts.


 


In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Exercise and continually hone your persuasion skills by positioning our platform in a compelling way

  • Educate and lead prospects through the customer journey to help them learn how we can help them advance their business

  • Help very established, traditional P&C insurance carriers truly transform and modernize their businesses

  • Grow a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to engage potential buyers

  • Close business with new and existing customers at or above quota

  • Partner with world-class talent in marketing, customer success, product and engineering to execute our sales strategy

  • Bring your unique ideas and creative approach to a startup, where they will be heard and cultivated


Required Qualifications :

We are looking for people who:



  • Have insurance experience (preferred!)

  • Have the positive attitude, work ethic and commitment to be a truly excellent salesperson

  • Possess exceptional consultative selling and closing skills

  • Have at least seven (7) years of enterprise sales experience with technology companies and are top producers in their current role

  • Learn and develop with constructive feedback aimed at maximizing their success

  • Are naturally a source of solutions to the problems they encounter through high autonomy and ownership 

  • Over deliver in everything they do

  • Realize they are helping prospects and customers achieve their goals, not the other way around, and feel a duty to do so

  • Have knowledge of or are willing to learn how commercial insurance works

  • Are comfortable navigating, engaging and developing relationships at all levels of an organization

  • Are natural communicators who adjust their style to match their audience

  • Have a bachelor's degree ideally in business or a related major

  • Can travel, post COVID-19 pandemic, to/from clients and our Schaumburg, IL office (NW suburb of Chicago) up to 50% of time
