Software Support Specialist, Level III

Job Description :


  • Resolve complex application/technical issues

  • Needs the ability to adapt and pick up new technology rapidly

  • Resolve production issues, identify root causes and iterate on improving both production and pre-production environments 

  • Must be able to be a team player and work within a small team environment

  • Identify opportunities and influence the roadmap of deployment standards and tooling 

  • Respond to requests for application assistance via phone or electronically through tickets

  • Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution

  • Research questions using available information resources

  • Assist tier 1 and tier 2 personnel 

  • Participate in quality management initiatives 

Required Qualifications :

  • Exposure to help desk processes and procedures and experience with service desk management tools (ZenDesk) 

  • Support and resolve help desk escalations related to custom in house software (.NET/SQL Server 2016) 

  • Strong SQL knowledge (Query tuning/optimization/indexing/trace plan analysis) 

  • Background and experience in .NET/jQuery/JavaScript and CSS 

  • Web application development & skills related to troubleshooting web applications 

  • IIS Configuration and maintenance / PowerShell / Active Directory skills  

  • Microsoft SharePoint experience / certification is a plus
